Your role

We’re looking for Software Engineer in Test/Test Analyst:

• eager to learn, understand the business requirements & criticality of the application / surrounding systems
• conduct comprehensive testing of Security/ authentication applications on various platforms (iOS and Android) to identify vulnerabilities, bugs, and performance issues
• develop test plans and test cases to ensure the functionality, usability, and security of the application.
• collaborate with development teams to address and remediate security flaws and vulnerabilities
• where appropriate and together with development team design, engineer and maintain test automation on all levels of testing pyramid to defend integrity and security of application
• stay up to date with the latest security threats, trends, and best practices to continuously enhance testing methodologies
• comply with UBS test strategy and testing standards
• contribute to reduction of all security and operational risks, in line with policies and standards
• participating in risk analysis and threat modelling activities to identify potential security vulnerabilities
• identify opportunities to improve our processes

Your team

You’ll be working in a dynamic Scrum team in the Crew Digital Security within the Touchpoint Stream in Zürich.
We build secure solutions for existing and prospective clients and have a proven track record of being first to market and ahead of the competition by evolving our solutions accessed by thousands of users every day.

Your expertise

• ideally 6+ years of experience as a test engineer/test analyst
• proven experience in testing mobile devices, security/ authentication features
• strong understanding of mobile operating systems (iOS, Android) and familiarity with security protocols and standards
• test automation experience, preferably using Java - ability to design and implement test automation E2E, fitting the software under test
• strong analytics skills and ability to learn quickly about the software under test
• experience with testing approaches and tools e.g.: Jira, Splunk, Xray, Gitlab, Selenium, Postman
• solid understanding of security concepts
• inquisitive, able to challenge effectively and manage conflicting stakeholder needs
• excellent communication skills and ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
• interested in learning new technologies and practices, reuse strategic platforms and standards, evaluate options, and make decisions with long-term sustainability in mind.
