We are looking for
Project Manager Automotive (EMEA region) (m/f/d)
at one of our locations in EMEA region - in Germany (Pfullingen) or in Hungary (Budaörs/Veszprém).
Your tasks:
- Independent planning and management of international projects with a focus on the automotive industry
- Responsible for creating the general schedule, as well as conducting weekly project meetings and following up on the measures defined from these meetings
- Implementation of customer-specific requirements of development projects, starting from the inquiry phase, through the delivery of prototypes to the start of series production and transfer to the production plant
- Contact Person with the customer, all internal specialist departments and the plants
- Responsible for project risk assessment,
- Implementation of lessons learned and application of best practices in project management
- Project milestones in terms of budgets, deadlines and quality
- Responsible for reporting on budgets, deadlines and quality
- Recording and controlling changes in ongoing serial projects Technical leadership of the interdisciplinary project team
Job requirements
- Experience in project management and coordination of interdisciplinary teams, preferably in the automotive environment
- Successful qualification in the field of project management and proven success in the implementation of projects, ideally rounded off by a successfully completed degree in engineering, industrial engineering or a further professional qualification as a technician or technical business economist
- Independent and structured way of working with a high degree of personal responsibility
- Strong communication skills, as well as high assertiveness and flexibility
- High level of resilience and experience in dealing with escalations and conflicts
- Willingness to travel internationally (ca. 10%)
- Fluent in written and spoken English (min. B2)
