Your tasks
- Lead the development and execution of the powertrain systems roadmap, aligning with overall vehicle strategy and customer needs
- Define system requirements, including functionality, performance, and interfaces, in collaboration with engineering teams
- Work closely with suppliers and internal development teams to ensure timely delivery of components and subsystems
- Provide technical guidance and support to engineering teams throughout the development lifecycle, including system design, implementation, testing, and validation
- Coordinate with vehicle architectural teams to ensure seamless integration of powertrain systems into vehicle, considering E/E architecture constraints
- Ensure compliance with cross-functional requirements for the usage of autonomous driving vehicles (functional safety, cybersecurity, diagnosis, etc.)
Your profile
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related fields
- Experience in automotive system development for powertrain systems (Electric Drive Units, Vehicle Control Units, etc.) including hands-on experience with system architecture, integration and validation
- Strong understanding of E/E vehicle architecture concepts and system and software integration as well as Cyber Security and Functional Safety
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners
- Project management skills, to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and drive projects to successful completion
- Proven problem-solving abilities
- Fluent in English and German
