For one of Energize's key German customers, I am seeking a highly skilled and experienced Freelance Senior EWM Consultant to join a very exciting long term S/4 HANA global project.
You will be involved with the implementation and roll-out of EWM to meet the dynamic needs of our client who are currently rolling out to their sites in Munich, Germany.
This is a long-term full-time 5 day per week contract running until 2027.
Requirement Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements related to warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics processes.
Solution Design: Design comprehensive EWM solutions tailored to the specific needs of clients, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and standards.
Configuration and Customization: Configure, customize, and implement EWM functionalities according to project requirements, leveraging SAP tools and technologies.
Integrate EWM with other SAP modules and interfaces (e.g. SAP S/4HANA, SAP MM)
Develop test scenarios, conduct system testing, and perform quality assurance activities to validate the functionality, performance, and reliability of EWM solutions.
Offer post-implementation support, address user queries and issues, and proactively identify opportunities for system enhancements and optimization.
Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience as an EWM Consultant, with a strong track record of successful project implementations and delivery.
In-depth knowledge of SAP EWM functionalities, including warehouse structure setup, master data management, inbound and outbound processes, warehouse monitoring, and RF framework.
Proficiency in configuring EWM settings and parameters, defining storage types, bins, and warehouse processes, and implementing advanced features such as slotting and task interleaving.
Strong business process knowledge in combination with technical skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to understand complex business processes, identify inefficiencies, and propose effective solutions.
Flexibility: Willingness to travel occasionally and work on-site at client location in Munich as required.
Must speak fluent German and good level of English

Duration: 2.5 year long contract until 2027 - structured in 6 month rolling extensions.
Location: Munich
Travel requirements: 3 weeks remote per month with 1 week onsite
Rate: €/hr (market rates)
Fulltime: 5 days per week
Travel expenses will be paid by the customer
