Software Product Manager with Focus on B2B Business/E-Commerce Environment
As a Product Manager, you will be involved in the development and implementation of our product strategy. With your sound product management experience, preferably in the B2B or e-commerce environment, you are responsible for ensuring that our platform services inspire our customers, offer them real added value and are in line with business objectives. In doing so, you will make a significant contribution to customer acceptance, profitability and market success. You will take responsibility for the success of your platform services and use your market and customer expertise to design services, implement them effectively with cross-functional teams and develop them continuously.
Your role
- Supporting competently: As a product market expert, you keep an eye on the market and have your finger on the pulse of the times in order to continue developing your services in an attractive way
- Shape the new tomorrow : You will identify market opportunities, shape the service design in accordance with the strategic positioning and implement services in order to utilise these opportunities profitably. In doing so, you evaluate potential, costs and profitability
- Create added value: You are an expert in recognising and understanding customer requirements. Combined with your market and customer experience, you ensure that our services offer our customers real added value
- Comunicate in a network: You work together with colleagues from many different departments including Sales, Legal, IT, Marketing and Operations to implement the product strategies and roadmaps
- Inspire employees and customers: You are in direct exchange with our customers and promote our services internally and at external events
- Measure success: You monitor and analyse the use of our services and react if necessary
Your qualifications
- Background: You have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with proven experience in product management, ideally with a focus on procurement solutions, B2B network platforms and e-commerce. You have sound knowledge of working with product roadmaps, KPI analyses and ideally have a technical understanding and experience in process optimisation
- Agile mindset: You are proficient in methods and tools of agile product management oragile development and project management
- Confident communication: You have excellent writing and communication skills in German and English and you can translate complex product information into simple, convincing messages
- Strong implementation skills: You have excellent team, organisational and project management skills as well as the expertise to lead cross-functional teams laterally and manage multiple goals simultaneously
- Modern working: You work remotely, but are also open to work regularly in one of our offices in Leipzig or Munich as well as to support other events and customer meetings on site
- Personality: You have the ability to inspire and empathise with employees instead of pushing them aside. You are quick on the uptake, think strategically and have a strong sense of responsibility to get things done without losing sight of other opinions and the focus on our customers
