We are currently hiring for the role of IT Support Specialist, who will be responsible for providing comprehensive IT support across all levels. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure and providing exceptional support to our internal users.
A challenging task
- Provide first, second, and third-level technical support to diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues for end-users.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to operating systems, applications, and peripherals.
- Escalate complex issues to appropriate teams or vendors, while ensuring timely resolution and effective communication with stakeholders.
- Assist in the deployment of new hardware, software, and updates across the organization.
- Document support activities, solutions, and procedures to contribute to the knowledge base.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement IT projects and initiatives.
A convincing background
- Completed apprenticeship in the area of IT, career entrance possible
- Proven experience in providing comprehensive IT support across all levels, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting Windows operating systems, as well as common software applications.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently paired with excellent time management skills
- IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, or Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST) are a plus.
- Knowledge of Endpoint Management Solutions (Intune, Baramundi) are a plus.
- Fluency in German and decent command of English required
