• You are responsible for the mechanical components of the stack in terms of design and interfaces, covering requirements, design, quality, cost, deadlines, and documentation as well as the O&M documentation and certification of the stack itself.
• You devise and implement optimization measures for the mechanical stack components as well as for the mechanical design concept of the stack.
• You elaborate and align specifications for the mechanical components targeted for mass production
• You plan, manage, supervise, and execute development projects, collaborating with engineering service providers and suppliers
• You manage suppliers throughout the component lifecycle
• You actively participate in internal and external meetings and committees
• You handle release and change management processes for associated master data and technical documents
• You create, select, and implement suggestions for the continuous improvement of the components
• You optimize development methodologies, whether experimental or simulative

• You hold an excellent university degree in mechanical or chemical engineering, materials science, physics, or a similar discipline
• You have several years of industrial experience, preferably in high-volume production businesses
• You have skills in 3D CAD Engineering, numerical simulation (FEM/CFD) , and/or experimental areas such as testing, validation, and certification
• You have extensive knowledge in mechanical design and product development, particularly of pressurized equipment as well as in areas such as water electrolysis or fuel cells
• You demonstrate proficiency in basic programming, data analysis, and the regular use of MS Office and/or ERP systems
• You are proactive, independent, and accountable
• You excel in organization, coordination, communication, and teamwork
• You are fluent in both German and English
